Gigi is currently starring on the hit series ‘Rescue Special Ops’, as Lara Knight.
She is an Australian actress who stole the hearts of sci-fi enthusiasts with her role as Chiana on ‘Farscape’, a science fiction TV show by The Jim Henson Company.

Gigi was born on November 16, in Perth, Australia. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Queensland University of Technology, after entering in the auditions along side hundreds of other candidates.

She lived in Los Angeles for three years but returned to Australia to shoot the feature ‘Newcastle’ and the documentary ‘Creature Keepers’. Just prior to this she was working on ‘The Starter Wife’ and ‘Judgement Day’, a feature that was shot in the states.
Gigi was nominated for the Film’s Critic’s Circle awards, for best lead actress in a feature film called ‘Last Train To Freo’.
Gigi additionally starred for six months on one of Australia’s most popular and respected television series ‘The Secret Life Of Us’. She has also worked in lead roles on countless other films, series, mini series and theatre. These include ‘Showdown At Area 51’, ‘Quantum Apocalypse’, ‘Systolic’, ‘Twisted Sister’, ‘Black Jack’, ‘Monkey’s Mask’, ‘Him And Her’, ‘Peacekeeper Wars’, ‘Stingers’, ‘Beastmaster’, ‘Lost World’, ‘Water Rats’, ‘Day of The Roses’, ‘Kill Everything You Love’, ‘4.48 Psychosis’, ‘Kakos’, ‘The Rover’, ‘Boy’s Life’, ‘Real Girls’, ‘Romeo And Juliet’, ‘The Caged Birds’, ‘Blue People’, ‘Princess And The Pea’, ‘Road’, ‘Picnic At Hanging Rock’ and ‘Les Miserables’.

She starred on the Jim Henson Company”s series ‘Farscape” for four and a half years. It has an astronomically large fan following. The merchandise includes action figures, video games, trading cards…the list goes on.
Her huge Internet presence, and large following of fans can be attributed to her role as Chiana on Farscape. Starting as a guest star for one episode, Gigi quickly captured the attention of the Farscape writers, producers and the fans alike. The mischievous character of Chiana became one of the most popular, and at times controversial characters in the series.

Gigi has recently begun a new endeavor. She has recorded two EPs to promote the release of her comic books. She had a successful launch in front of an audience of thousands and toured to New York to continue her promotion. She directed and produced a film in Los Angeles called ‘Nobody Knows’. It is an exert from one of her comic books.
